His grandfather had a farm where Fernando was raised with this beautiful landscape in his backyard. Then, the Mexican government came and began to excavate the ruins that are known today as the Chacchoben Mayan ruins. Now, Fernando and his son, Fernando Jr, run Chunky Monkey along with me! Together, we aim to bring you the true beauty of Mexico despite the tourist traps that have been put in place by many big companies.
