ALTEN MÉXICO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Supervisor to join our team in the pharmaceutical industry. As a subsidiary of ALTEN Group, a global leader in engineering and information technology, we provide specialized solutions for engineering and technology projects across industries.
The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs and initiatives specifically in the pharmaceutical industry. This includes developing and maintaining HSE policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards, and providing training to employees on HSE matters. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HSE principles and regulations in the pharmaceutical industry, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards in the pharmaceutical facility.
- Maintain and update records related to incidents, near misses, and safety inspections.
- Provide training to employees on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Investigate accidents and incidents in the pharmaceutical facility, identify root causes, and develop corrective actions.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and emergency response teams, that are relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Monitor HSE performance indicators specific to the pharmaceutical industry and develop improvement plans as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
- Knowledge of local HSE regulations and standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Professional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001) is preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
